Jazz Fest looks back to greats, known and less-so

First off, you may have noticed that we recently stopped all home deliveries. Times are tough all over. Which brings us to the product we've been sweating over for several months now, the redesigned MT finally in your hands with more features and doodads packed into a more flora-friendly size and format. You'll find the familiar items are still here — from Jack Lessenberry to Spun album reviews to Dan Savage — though with a spanking-new look. You'll find a Screens section, for instance, examining, in one place, media from the latest films to TV to video games, plus other goodies that we'll let you discover. You'll find an easier-on-the-eyes Night and Day listings section with the addition of a full page each week focusing on the Ann Arbor area. We hope you'll find that with this updated design, Metro Times, both in print and online, remains essential reading for hard-hitting news, arts and culture in a world where more and more products and channels battle for your attention. And, of course, you can always get our attention by writing us at letters@metrotimes.com or at our street address below and letting us know what you think.
